Terms — Blazer

The short version. Blazer is a passport for the golf you play. Your entries are yours. Be honest with the course data, be decent in your crew, and don't try to break it. If you subscribe to Pro, Apple or Google handle the money and you can cancel any time.

Who we are

Blazer is operated by Poster Kingz, based in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@blazergolf.com. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Your account

You sign in with an email address and a one-time code. Keep your email account secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
You must be 13 or over.
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time (You → Delete account). Everything you logged goes with it, immediately.

Your content

Rounds, notes, scorecard photos, your bag, your bucket list and your messages are yours. We store them to show them back to you and to the crews you choose to share them with. We don't sell them and we don't show them to anyone else.

Course corrections and ratings you submit become part of the shared course data, so those we keep and use even after you leave. They are never tied back to you.

Crews

A crew is a small group you join with a code. Anything you post in a crew is visible to everyone in it. Don't post anything you wouldn't say in the car park, and don't post other people's personal details. We can remove content or accounts that abuse other people.

Blazer Pro

Every new passport gets a 7-day free trial of the paid features, starting from your first stamp.
After the trial, adding new stamps, kit and trips needs a Blazer Pro subscription or lifetime purchase. Crews, chat, polls, the bucket list and browsing stay free.
When a trial or subscription ends your passport goes read-only, never dark. Everything you logged stays visible to you.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is taken by Apple or Google, at the price shown in the app, through your store account. Cancel in your store's subscription settings; access runs to the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
On iOS the subscription is also covered by Apple's standard licence agreement.

Course data

Our course database is built from OpenStreetMap data under the Open Database Licence, with corrections from members on top. It is good and getting better, but it is not perfect: hole counts, pars and names can be wrong or missing. Check with the club before you travel. If you know better, use "suggest a correction" in the app.

Commercial links

Some hotel, travel and equipment links earn us a commission. They are marked wherever they appear and never change the price you pay. What happens on a partner's site is between you and them.

What we don't promise

Blazer is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we are not liable for losses that come from relying on it, to the extent the law allows us to say so. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
